When Should I fly in?
Your stay in Key West is entirely up to you, but please take note of the following details. The wedding will take place on April 18th, and we will host a welcome party on April 17th. We completely understand if you cannot attend the welcome party, but please ensure you fly in by the evening of April 17th to attend the wedding ceremony on April 18th. If you would like to join the welcome party, we recommend arriving no later than the morning of April 17th.
How and Where do I book a Hotel?
We are thrilled to welcome you to Key West for our wedding! No matter where you choose to stay on the island, you'll be close to our venue at Casa Marina. Key West is a compact and convenient destination, with everything within a short Uber ride away. While Casa Marina, our wedding venue, offers a luxurious experience, it is on the higher end of the price spectrum.
However, there are many other wonderful accommodation options available to suit all budgets. This includes Airbnbs, VRBO's, beautiful and historic Bed and Breakfasts, and other lovely hotels!
What time should I arrive at the Ceremony?
The Ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00p.m. at the Casa Marina. Please arrive between 4:30-4:45p.m. to be seated for the ceremony.
How do I get to the Ceremony?
If you are staying at the Casa Marina Hotel, you can simply walk to the ceremony location within the hotel grounds. If you’re staying at The Reach Hotel, the drive to Casa Marina takes about 3 to 5 minutes. Feel free to take an Uber or taxi to reach the Casa Marina Hotel. Please ensure ample time to reach the ceremony location by 4:45pm.
Can I take Pictures during the wedding?
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking personal photos during our wedding ceremony, as we'd love to share this special moment with you phone-free. However, once the ceremony is over, feel free to snap all the pictures you want! We can't wait to see the beautiful memories you capture during the reception!
What is the dress code for the ceremony?
The dress code for our wedding day is Sophisticated Beach Chic!
What Shoes Should I Wear?
Please wear comfortable shoes! Ladies, we recommend skipping the high heels, as there will be lots of dancing and walking on grass and sand.
What is the Dress Code for the Welcome Party?
The dress code for the welcome party is beach casual. Please bring your swimsuit, as there will be plenty of opportunities to swim and soak up the sun! This welcome party is a wonderful chance for us to kick off the wedding weekend and reconnect with one another. Get ready for a fantastic time—there will be a beach, a pool, and a party! We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!
What will the food be like at the wedding?
Our reception will also include a delicious buffet-style dinner! Don't worry—there will be plenty of tasty options for everyone to enjoy. Since it is a buffet, there won't be a menu to look at, and you won't need to choose a specific plate. Just come hungry and ready to enjoy!
Can I Bring My Children?
We are so excited to celebrate our special day with you! While we cherish every one of our loved ones, we kindly ask that children under the age of 13 not attend. If your children are 13+ please bring them! We want our guests to fully enjoy the celebrations without having to worry about your precious little ones. Thank you for your understanding, and we can’t wait to share this beautiful occasion with you!
Can I bring a date?
Your wedding invitation will indicate if you have a plus one. If the invitation allows for this, please feel free to bring a date!
What Transportation should I use?
Under the "Travel" tab, you'll find several options for getting around Key West, including golf carts, scooters, Ubers, taxis, walking, and biking. Golf carts and scooters are especially popular and make sightseeing extra fun! Please remember that even though a golf cart or scooter isn’t the same as a large rental vehicle, drinking and driving is still prohibited for everyone's safety. Let’s stay responsible and make sure everyone gets home safely!
Do you have a registry?
The greatest gift you can give us is your presence at our wedding. We kindly request no material gifts. However, if you would like to contribute to our cash funds located under the registry tab, please feel free to do so. We truly appreciate all of you!
Who Is Going To Be There?
We are thrilled to invite all of our dear friends and family to join us on our special day! We’ll have a wonderful mix of loved ones, and we can’t wait to see everyone come together. While you may not know everyone, we promise you'll have a fantastic time, meeting new faces and reconnecting with familiar ones. We’re looking forward to celebrating with you all!
